About us

Pull up a stool and listen...

The (very) short history of Perchang, and the people who run it.

Our story

Still not very good at stopping

In 2016 a crack game development unit gave themselves six months to create a game. These fools promptly released the multi-platform puzzle hit Perchang. Six million units, two Warhammer Quest games, and an entire Perchang sequel later, they are working on a bonkers new project.

Who we are

Ben Murch, Creative Director
Creative Director

Ben Murch

Art, animation, sfx, music — all that stuff. He co-designs everything with Pete. Ben has an unhealthy love for Skyrim, and believes the Xbox to be "rather lovely".

Pete Akehurst, Technical Director
Technical Director

Pete Akehurst

In charge of pressing all the keys in the right order. He co-designs everything with Ben. Pete has a healthy love for football and an unhealthy watching habit. His record is 9 in 1 weekend.

Liam Cullen, Art Director
Art Director

Liam Cullen

Liam knows an awful lot about art, which is really lucky for us. He likes Gundam, Soulsbourne games, and really loves it when the asset is on its 20th iteration.

Tom Cunliffe, Producer
Producer

Tom Cunliffe

Tom is a professional wrangler and can wrangle like you wouldn't believe. He loves StarCraft, a good pipeline and figuring out what the next team meet-up weird activity ought to be.

Alan Thomas, Game Artist
Game Artist

Alan Thomas

Alan 'T-1000' Thomas is actually a very impressive game artist and not, in fact, a robot in disguise. He likes wargames inspired by G.R.R.M and a bit of Warhammer doesn't hurt either.

Allan Robertson, Coder
Coder

Allan Robertson

Allan can probably fix that: words we live by every day. When Allan isn't building swimming pools, he's probably building something else very cool instead.

Gary Masters, Senior QA Technician
Senior QA Technician

Gary Masters

Thank the maker for Gary. May he be blessed for those game-ending bugs we didn't spot on the eve before the last update. May he be blessed with many more board games.

It's dangerous to go alone...
